Port Macquarie

Resting by the calm, blue sea, I rest
The endless fight, my dreams now blest
No longer battered against the rocks
Calm water seals Pandora’s box.

Resting by the amorous sea, I rest
Knowing my future is a test
Exposed and bare, I lay in wait
For calm waters my soul’s date

Resting by the misty sea, I rest
Excitement pounds my lightened chest
Filtered glimpses of eternal bliss
Calm my tears with a tender kiss

Resting by the shimmering sea, I rest
Beckoned as a welcomed guest
rippling waves veil hidden truths
Of unspoken days, my past youth.

Resting by the boundless sea, I rest
Gazing, floating on each crest
Engaging in my thoughts and pleas
Permission granted, to be me.
